8/25/22 Abbott lab collaborative study suggests caution when assigning the label "viroporin"

In a Matters Arising paper recently published in Communications Biology, we discuss recent assignments of viral proteins from SARS-COV-2 as "viroporins" and suggest guidelines for establishing true ion channel status.
