Dr. Manville presented his work on channel-transporter interactions at the Biophysical Society Annual Meeting in New Orleans, February 2017 and also enjoyed the local fare and music.
Dr. Abbott's Ph.D. advisor, Professor Kaila Srai, comes to visit and enjoy the local cuisine! Professor Srai is a Professor of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at University College, London, UK, where he researches iron transport and the role of iron toxicity in many disease states and syndromes.
